Erin Jacobs, MSN, PMHNP-BC
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for change, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself. I help clients move from merely surviving to truly thriving by providing a safe space to share your story, understand your challenges, and work towards the life you envision.
My journey in healthcare began as an Emergency Technician while I was completing my nursing degree. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University and started working as an Emergency Room nurse at DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital. It was in the Crisis Center there that I discovered my passion for caring for individuals experiencing psychiatric emergencies. This passion motivated me to return to school, where I earned my Master of Science in Nursing and became a Board-Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
I specialize in treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and crisis-related concerns. My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based care. I draw on both medication management and supportive therapy to create a personalized treatment plan.
Together, we will explore your unique strengths and challenges, develop strategies that fit your life, and build tools to foster resilience, improve daily functioning, and promote lasting well-being. My goal is not only to treat symptoms but also to help you reclaim your sense of balance, confidence, and hope for the future.
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
