Jessica Prevost, LPC
I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master of Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. I have over 5 years of therapeutic experience working with clients who face various mental health challenges and need a supportive and personalized approach. My experience includes:
therapeutic experience working with individuals ages 11 and up with a focus on mild to severe anxiety, panic disorder, trauma, relationship challenges, women's issues, and life transitions.
partnering with adults and teens who feel stuck in depression, anger, shame, or guilt.
working with parents reporting postpartum anxiety and depressive symptoms.
As a counselor, I use a combination of person-centered, solution-focused, faith-based, and cognitive behavioral approaches to help you identify your needs, explore your options, and discover your strengths. I also use trauma-informed therapy, somatic techniques, and dialectical behavior skills to help you heal your wounds, manage your emotions, and improve your well-being.
I believe counseling is a collaborative and empowering process, where you and I work together to achieve your goals and potential. I offer a strength-based approach that builds on what is already working for you and helps you develop and work toward your personalized mental health goals.
