"Empowering Your Mental Health Journey With Integrated Care"

David Turner, LLC | Clarkston & Rochester Hills Therapist & Site Supervisor

David Turner, LLC | Clarkston & Rochester Hills Therapist & Site Supervisor

I am a pre-licensed professional counselor/therapist who graduated from Oakland University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My expertise lies in dealing with anxiety and depression in both teens and adults, as well as helping individuals navigate general life transitions, low self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ challenges, trauma, and existential crisis.

While I am knowledgeable about various therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, my therapy philosophy primarily revolves around Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This values-based approach focuses on accepting difficult emotions and committing to personally meaningful goals.

By customizing my approach to each individual's unique needs and goals, I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to learn new ways to manage distress, improve relationships, and build meaningful connections. I consider it a privilege to listen to each person's story and collaborate on worthwhile goals that lead to richer experiences.

“Life is a journey, not a destination.”
