Thoughtful, Collaborative Psychiatric Care


Psychiatric care & treatment planning is a specialized service focused on evaluating, prescribing, and carefully monitoring psychiatric medications to support emotional wellness and symptom stability. For many individuals, medication — when clinically appropriate — can be a powerful tool in reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health concerns.

At Giesken Counseling Services, our board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management for children, teenagers, and adults across Michigan. We believe medication is not a “quick fix,” but one part of a personalized, whole-person treatment plan.
