What an Online Psychiatry Session Looks Like
At Giesken Counseling Services, we make the process approachable and transparent:
- Initial Consultation– Talk with a qualified provider about your goals and concerns. (60 minutes)
- *Intake for psychiatric services MUST BE IN-PERSON. After initial intake, online/telehealth appointments may be available if desired.
- Care Exploration & Planning – Together, we look at your symptoms and experiences to determine what approach fits best.
- Ongoing Support – Regular check‑ins support your progress, with adjustments guided by your feedback.

- Integrated Communication – Your therapist and care planner stay aligned so all parts of your support system work together.

Privacy & Technology
We use encrypted, HIPAA‑compliant video. A stable internet connection, a quiet private space, and a device with a camera and microphone are all you need. If you prefer phone sessions, we can discuss options during the consult.
