Caritta Christian, LLP

I am a clinical therapist with over 14 years of experience in treating mental health conditions that affect mood, thinking, and behavior related to depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. My background is extensive and diverse, having worked with clients in community mental health and private practice. I use a variety of therapy approaches, including client-centered, strength-based, solution-focused, trauma, mindfulness, ACT, CBT, couples, exposure, and collaborative therapy.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Case Management from Davenport University and a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology.

My passion is to help and motivate my clients to feel better about themselves, solve problems, understand and manage their feelings, set and reach goals, regain control of themselves, their choices, emotional health, and improve relationships. I listen to my clients to understand who they are so that I can provide the best possible care and insight regarding their personal situation.

My goal as your therapist is to create a comfortable and safe space, allowing you to work at your own pace as you work toward self-awareness, healing, change, and acceptance. Together, we can resolve issues and foster growth. Your happiness matters to me, and making a positive difference in your life makes me happy.
