As a Counseling Intern and current graduate student at Oakland University, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Adrian College. I am passionate about supporting teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate a diverse range of mental health challenges.
I believe in a client-centered approach, recognizing the unique needs of each individual. My responsibility as a counselor is to be adaptable and responsive, drawing from various therapeutic techniques such as person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral approaches. This ensures that our collaborative work accurately reflects the entirety of each client’s personal experience.
