Kali Martin, LLPC
Do you identify as LGBTQ+ and struggle with depression, anxiety, or trauma? Do you need a safe and supportive space to explore your feelings and challenges? If so, you are not alone. Many LGBTQ+ people face higher rates of mental health issues due to persistent prejudice and discrimination12.
At Giesken Counseling Services, Kali is one of our licensed and experienced counselors who specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ community and mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Kali has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She works with clients ages 16 and up, using cognitive behavioral therapy to teach coping skills and diminish negative thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. She believes therapy should be unique to the individual and strives to create a treatment plan that works best for each client.
She will provide you with a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where you can express yourself freely and authentically. She will help you overcome your difficulties and achieve your goals.
