I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Sociology from Central Michigan University and Master of Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.
I have worked in the Human Services field for over 27 years in various settings, with a majority in Child Welfare and Mental Health. I have worked throughout these years treating Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adjustment, Life Challenges, Codependency/Shame and Self Esteem. I have a strong belief in self awareness and mindfulness, utilizing an integrative and humanistic approach to therapy with a variety of tools and skills drawn from Holistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and others. I believe in an authentic and collaborative relationship with my clients as one of the most important aspects to achieving the clients goals.
