I received a BA in Psychology from Oakland University and a MSSA from the prestigious Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. I am working to specialize in Grief and Bereavement counseling, but I have clinical experience working with many clients with differing treatment needs.
I have experience working with teens and adults of all ages, as well as individuals with diverse backgrounds. I relate well to those that experience anxiety and I particularly enjoy working with those who need a boost to their self-esteem. I like to use a mix of different therapeutic approaches to provide quality care tailored to fit each individual, but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness are the foundation of most of my treatment plans.
Since therapy is often an intimidating process, my number one priority is providing a safe environment where people are able to relax and be themselves. I see therapy as a collaborative experience, and it is my goal that clients leave each session feeling uplifted, hopeful and one step closer to their personal goals. I believe that everyone can live a happy and fulfilling life, and I am passionate about helping individuals on their unique journeys to get there
