I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Baker College and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Walden University. I have helped many clients with a variety of mental health issues from depression, anxiety, and substance abuse to grief, trauma, and self-esteem. I believe my approach to therapy is most effective when we work as a team. I prefer to use a combination of different techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Solution Focused. You will lead the session and work towards specific goals that are most important to you. Together you and I will work on helping you to learn coping skills to help with depression and anxiety reduction and more.
I will create a safe and secure, and judgement free environment, where you can feel relaxed enough to open yourself up about problems that are bothering you.
